Project Syrup is a match-3 puzzle (romance??) game that I've been slowly working on since 2022. I wanted to release a vertical slice of what I have cooking up in the form of this demo! If you have any thoughts about gameplay, story, or just plain thirst bugs.
If you want to keep up with me, consider following my socials: ๐

3 thoughts/wishes...
1. a square/bracket around the group of 4 the mouse is hovering over to actually see/know which blocks I'm about to rotate.
2. and of course a indicator for which mouse button turns which way
3. last but not least, cool concept and would love to see more!
Very cool :) I was worried that I wouldn't be able to match the 4 in a row since I wasn't used to this method of movement, but I managed to win. I'm not sure I could win a more difficult version without some sort of meta progression, espescially if I had to start over on loss.
Thanks for playing! This method actually allows you to do 5 in a row pretty easily if you know what to look for. Will definitely think about the difficulty progression in the future <3
Very cool.
not a bad little matchy thing!
but I do find the numbers over the filling globe thingie hard to read sometimes.
I don't understand how to win
Try to match 4's as much as possible, they give blinking/glowing orbs which in turn regenerate lives so you can keep going. Avoid matching skulls, skulls bad. ??? Profit.
This was really fun, it might be useful to have a tracker that show how many moves i have left, the art is also really good
It's the small yellow orbs on the right! I guess its not very obvious;; Thanks for the feedback <3
Not to be gay, but cool animation dude
